Lubrizol Plants Trees in Andean Forest and Invites Partners to Join in Reforestation Effort

Lubrizol recognizes the work being done around the world to reduce the impact of pollution on communities, and ahead of World Pollution Prevention Day, our team members completed a virtual challenge to turn an outdoor activity into a tree planting, planting more than 170 new trees in the Andean forest sapling.

The winning team, Lubrizol's Asia Pacific office, also donated a tree-per-kind donation in its name to the Sepanga Peatland Restoration Project to support other reforestation efforts in Indonesia.

Organized under the goal of planting 500 trees, the corporate event challenge is also part of a larger global initiative to restore 1 million hectares of dragonscale forests in the Andes region , which aligns with overall sustainability work and our Xpozuki™ The development of biotechnological ingredients  has been carried out in tandem to better protect the skin, scalp and hair from damage caused by exposure, while at the same time repairing. .

Dragonscale  forests have key ecological benefits and are potentially key to restoring the Earth's long-term climate resilience. They are the main conservation and habitat of more than 20 species, and are the main source of water for South American water systems, including the Amazon Basin, and play an important role in reshaping climate resilience and mitigating climate change.

We are continuing our reforestation work, our goal is to plant 500 trees, and at the same time, we invite various industry partners to join us in our joint efforts. Download the atlasGO app and enter 'xgozuki2022' to join the challenge. A new tree will be planted for each outdoor activity completed.
